Care/of Review

You might remember that I bought Care/of Vitamins as my new thing to try for February. I started to feel like my supplement and vitamin routine was out of control and wanted to figure out what my body actually needed as opposed to what I thought it needed.
So I went and did their little test and got a list of recommended vitamins.
I decided to ditch a few of them because they were a little too experimental and I didn't think I really needed them. At the end of customizing, I ended up with a pack that had Vitamin C, B-Complex. Ashwagandha, Fish Oil, a Probiotic Blend, Vitamin D and Magnesium.
I'm not going to lie to you, it's a little pricey. But I know that I probably spend about the same on Care/Of as what I was spending on my other supplements. (The 50% off introductory coupon didn't hurt either.)
I got the cute little box and set it up in my bathroom ready for a new routine. (Their packaging also directs you to sign up for their app so you can get a reminder to take your vitamins and earn rewards like free packs and new supplements to try.)

I have to say, the reminders are nice and their rewards are a great incentive to take you vitamins everyday. Also man oh man do I save time by just ripping open one packet instead of opening 7 little pill bottles.
Initially, I was a little nervous about switching things up because I thought that I had a good groove going with the vitamins, but I felt that I had some holes and wanted to fill them.
I have to say, the new vitamins have made me fee SO MUCH better. The probiotics are making a huge difference in my digestion and I feel like I am recovering from workouts better and faster than I ever have before. In addition, the Ashwagandha is working a lot better for my moods an emotions than St. John's Wort every did. So, partially sold on the whole ayurvedic medicine thing.
All and all, Care/Of was a solid February lifestyle experiment and I am happy to report that like with matcha, I am going to stick to it for the rest of the year!
